Longtime Ultimate Fighting Championship commentator Mike Goldberg called his last fight with the company at “UFC 207” and made a quiet exit from the company he helped build. While Goldberg has explained in the past that he does not know the reason why he was let go, he understands he was part of a mass exodus after new owners WME-IMG took over.
While Goldberg has experience in both hockey and football games, it appears as if he will be staying in the mixed martial arts business after all. During a press conference on Thursday morning, Bellator CEO Scott Coker revealed that he has been in contact with the former UFC commentator to call events that Sean Grande would not be able to make.
#Bellator president Scott Coker says he's talking with Mike Goldberg about potentially filling event dates PBP man Sean Grande can't fulfil.
