Former UFC Title Challenger Books Fight Against Jailed 14 Years Convict

Once at the top of the UFC’s heavyweight division, perennial MMA fighter Jeff Monson is taking on a new foe in Russia.

Coming off a first round submission win in October, the former UFC title challenger will now return to action against a Russian combat specialist known as “Mad Max”.

Mad Max is a convicted criminal who served 14-years behind bars. He’s a violent fighter and poses a potentially dangerous threat to Monson.

The two are booked for an upcoming fight night in Russia, that goes down on April 22nd. They are the featured bout.
