Come May 28, UFC light heavyweight Alexander Gustafsson is getting what he asked for. No. 3 ranked light heavyweight Glover Teixiera will be in Stockholm, Sweden to oblige him.
As first reported by MMA Fighting, the UFC is potentially working out a bout between the two fighters for an unannounced event on May 28 in Stockholm, Sweden.
If the event is finalized, Gustafsson and Teixiera are expected to headline the event.
This news is coming off of the heals of Alexander Gustafsson announcing his preparedness for UFC to return to Stockholm. If Gustaffsson truly gets his wish, then this currently unannounced bout with Teixiera will prove to be an exciting one.
Glover Teixiera recently snagged a decision victory over Jared Cannonier at UFC 208, while Alexander Gustafsson has just torn away from his two fight losing streak by defeating Jan Blachowicz via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 93.
