The fate of the interim lightweight championship will be decided in the co-main event of “UFC 209” where undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov squares off with Tony Ferguson. The fight is garnering a lot of attention among media as whoever walks out of the octagon with the championship strapped around their waist will likely unify their interim belt with Conor McGregor’s strap.
Just a bit over a week ahead of fight night, Robin Black shared his breakdown of the fight between Nurmagomedov and Ferguson and was complimentary of both fighters. Still, Black pointed out weaknesses in both fighter’s games and it looks like Nurmagomedov did not take too kindly to that.
Black was blocked by Nurmagomedov, telling MMA Mania, “Weird thing, Khabib blocked me after I did this breakdown. Don’t know why. Maybe he thinks I exposed something. I don’t know.”
UFC 209 takes place next weekend and features a headline bout between UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley and challenger Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.
