At Saturday’s UFC on Fox 23, Jorge Masvidal notched the biggest win of his 43-fight career when he knocked out Donald Cerrone in the second round.
It seemed like “Gamebred” had finished Cerrone near the end of the first round, but referee Herb Dean said he heard the bell to end the round even though the bell had never sounded.
When the fight ended, you could see the American Top Team fighter saying something to Cerrone but it wasn’t revealed what was said.
During the “UFC Unfiltered” podcast, co-host Matt Serra told guest Dana White that he saw Masvidal at the fighter hotel and asked what he said to Cerrone.
“You (Cerrone) know who I am,” Masvidal told Serra. “You know who the (expletive) I am.”
During the lead-up to the fight, Cerrone kept saying he only said Masvidal’s win over Jake Ellenberger in December even though the former Miami street fighter said him and the Greg Jackson-Mike Winkeljohn fighter had sparred together in the past.
Going to take a guess but Cerrone knows who Masvidal is now.
