McGregor Cancels Dublin Event On Last Minutes Notice, Forces Full Ticket Refunds

If you live in Ireland and were expecting to see an “Evening with Conor McGregor”, then you will have to wait.

The UFC lightweight champion had to cancel the event at the Red Cow Moran Hotel and Industry Entertainment in Dublin due to him traveling to Las Vegas.

“(We) would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope that a new date for this special evening will be set in the not too distant future,” organizers told the Irish Examiner.

McGregor did this type of event for the first time in January as part of an online pay-per-view interview in Manchester, England. The event was a sellout, selling 5,000 tickets.

It is unknown on why McGregor will be travelling to Las Vegas. He could be there to meet with UFC president Dana White on what his next fight will be or talk about the potential of making a boxing fight between himself and Floyd Mayweather.  Maybe the UFC star and the boxing legend are meeting to discuss the potential of the fight, or maybe, just maybe all three parties will meet face-to-face and make the mega-fight.
