UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor’s next fight may not be taking place in the octagon, after all. The megastar was spotted in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday evening and after months of negotiations between McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr., The Sun UK is reporting that the two camps have finally come to terms with numbers and have reached a deal to make the fight happen.
The Sun reports that the bout agreement has yet to been signed due to a “third-party holdup”. McGregor pulled out of a scheduled meet-and-greet in Dublin this week in order to go to the states to make his anti-bullying video that was mandated to him by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for the UFC 202 water-bottle throwing incident.
McGregor has not been spotted inside the octagon since his history-making fight with Eddie Alvarez at “UFC 205”; Do you think he’s ready to make history again with Mayweather?
