When the UFC created the female featherweight division they did so with one champion in mind, Cris Cyborg.
The P4P most dominant female in the sport is the long standing division queen across multiple promotions and fight fans are not fooled by Saturday’s UFC 208 main event between Holly Holm and Germaine de Randamie (GDR).
Though Cyborg is signed to the UFC, due to issues outside the cage she was unable to compete for the inaugural division title. Instead, as stated by UFC president Dana White, Cris will enter the division in a title fight against Saturday’s winner, GDR.
The two wound up running into each other backstage following Saturday night’s event , and they squared off for cameras lucky enough to be there.
