NSAC Willing To Grant Conor McGregor His Boxing License To Fight Mayweather

The cross-sport super fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather was nothing but a thought one year ago, but as each day passes it’s becoming more and more of a possibility.

McGregor has applied for his boxing license in Las Vegas, Nevada and has made it known that he is seriously training for a fight with the retired Mayweather. While fight fans remained skeptical saying that the commission would never sanction something like this, the Nevada State Athletic Commission has recently spoken out about the topic. NSAC Executive Director Bob Bennett told Los Angeles Times:

“Would the Nevada State Athletic Commission consider a boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor? Of course we would. And we’d definitely want the fight to be in the fight capital of the world. What commission wouldn’t want the two biggest fighters in the world right now to fight in their state?”
