At January’s Bellator 170, the promotion announced a rematch between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal would take place at Bellator 175.
War of words ensued between the two fighters in the arena and at a press conference after the Bellator 170 concluded.
Lawal and Jackson fought at Bellator 120 in May 2014 in the promotion’s first pay-per-view with “Rampage” winning by unanimous decision in a fight many people including Jackson thought “King Mo” won the fight.
Since the fight announcement, Lawal said Jackson looked fat, been eating lot of donuts and was #DCupPregnant. The former UFC light heavyweight champion hasn’t said much to Lawal in the lead-up to the fight Thursday evening when he took to Instagram.
“Yo King Mo remember when you kicked my ass? Yeah.. Me either, talk all the (expletive) you want.. make all the memes you want, none of that’s gonna help you come March 31st.”
Bellator 175 takes place on March 31st from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL, right outside Chicago.
