On Sunday, UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis picked up the biggest win of his UFC career in the main event of a UFC Fight Night event in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Lewis showed tons of heart and determination in his main event fight against longtime heavyweight contender Travis Browne. After getting hurt by body shots in the first round, Lewis came back in the second to knock Browne out with brutal ground-and-pound.
After his win, Lewis conducted one of the most entertaining post-fight interviews in UFC history.
During the interview, Lewis said he didn’t get hurt by body shots.
“I just gotta do number two,” Lewis said. “It’s not hurt from the kick. I just gotta doo doo.”
Lewis than talked about Browne’s past issues with domestic violence and called out his current girlfriend.
“Where Ronda Rousey’s fine (expletive) at,” Lewis said.
Lewis finished his fight saying he needs to take a break from fighting.
“With all the training and sex I’ve been getting, my body needs some time off,” Lewis said.
