Former UFC welterweight Rory MacDonald is looking to put on a dominant performance in his up coming Bellator debut. “Red King” MacDonald will be facing Paul Daley at Bellator 179 in May at the Wembley Arena in London.
In an interview with FloCombat, the fighter explained that he is looking to press the pacing against Daley until he quits or drowns.
“They can expect me to move forward in this fight. I’m going to be hunting him down.” MacDonald told FloCombat. “I’m going to be coming forward. Every time he takes a step back, every time he wants to take a breath; I’m going to be in there, in his face pressing him, not giving him a chance to breath until he feels like he’s drowning and he’s going to have to give up.”
MacDonald is coming off of a two fight losing streak in the UFC, with his most recent loss being against Stephan Thompson in June of last year.
