UFC strawweight contenders Rose Namajunas and Michelle Waterson will fight at a UFC on FOX event on April 15.
The pivotal women’s strawweight fight was announced on Saturday’s telecast of the UFC 208 prelims on FOX Sports 1.
Namajunas is a former UFC title challenger and has won three of her last four. She is coming off a decision loss to Karolina Kowalkiewicz. She won her previous three fights defeating Angela Hill, Paige VanZant, and Tecia Torres.
Waterson is unbeaten in the UFC with two victories. She is coming off a submission win over VanZant in December.
Former flyweight title challenger Tim Elliott will also compete at this event. He will fight fellow flyweight contender Louis Smolka.
The UFC also announced a light heavyweight fight between Devin Clark and Jake Collier, and a middleweight fight between Anthony Smith and Andrew Sanchez.
The UFC has yet to announce a main event for this UFC on FOX event taking place at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
