Sunday’s Main Event Wasn’t The First Time Dana White Smoked Referee Yamasaki

UFC President Dana White has never been one to bite his tongue whenever he has something to say, and he recently put referee Mario Yamasaki on blast for his officiating in the main event of “UFC Fight Night 105”. Derrick Lewis had already sent Travis Browne to the mat where he followed him, blasting him with right hand after right hand. There was a point where it looked like Browne could have recovered but it didn’t take long for Lewis to reach the point of no return, ultimately putting “Hapa” to sleep.

The fight could have easily been stopped several strikes earlier, and fans and fighters alike called Yamasaki out for his error on social media right after the fight. White was quick to insult Yamasaki as well, and almost exactly one year ago he did the same after Donald Cerrone submitted Alex Oliveira:
