UFC President Dana White says the UFC has offered both Nick and Nate Diaz fights in the UFC.
White discussed the Diaz brothers on Friday during a Facebook Live interview with USA Today.
“We just offered Nate Diaz a fight and we’re waiting to hear back from him,” White said. “We’ll see. These guys say they want to fight. I offered Nick Diaz two fights. He turned down two fights. I offered him, Robbie Lawler. Robbie Lawler accepted the fight. And I offered him, Demain Maia. So Nick Diaz turned down both of those fights, and Nate Diaz was just offered a fight and we’re waiting to hear back from him.”
White was later asked, who is the most difficult to get to fight in the octagon?
“The most difficult to get in the octagon,” White asked himself. ” I don’t know. Right now it’s the Diaz brothers. Right here, right now. But throughout history, I don’t know.”
Nate Diaz is coming off a decision loss to UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor in August. Nick Diaz has not fought since Jan. 2015. Nick Diaz was suspended for 18-months after he tested positive for banned substances. His suspension expired back in July.
