Who doesn’t like a good brawl on a reality show?
During the filming of “The Ultimate Fighter” in 2015, lightweight champion Conor McGregor and the recently-retired Urijah Faber were opposing coaches, but unlike previous seasons, the coaches were not scheduled to square off at the end of the season.
With no fight waiting for him at the end of the show, McGregor took it upon himself to get under the skin of other Team Alpha Male members, most notably bantamweight champ, Cody Garbrandt. The two of them nearly came to blows when McGregor was making comments about Team Alpha Male’s situation with former member and former 135-pound champion TJ Dillashaw. Both men stood their ground, and the end result is what you see in this video clip.
Could that have a sign of things to come and we see a McGregor-Garbrandt showdown in the future?
