You can imagine, as disappointed as we all are that Khabib vs. Ferguson was scratched from tonight’s UFC 209 event, Tony Ferguson is even more disappointed.
His narrative of the events that took place yesterday are heart wrenching and it’s hard not to feel for the guy.
The pinnacle of this sport is the UFC belt, and Ferguson was one day away from attempting to claim one. Only for his lengthy training camp, and efforts, to be dashed by a bad weight cut on the side of his opponent.
