When Team Alpha Standout Cynthia Calvillo made her UFC debut on short notice last month, no one outside of the TAM family knew what the world was in store for.
It turned out that the UFC’s females instantly got a new contender in their ranks, and the UFC is looking to quickly build on that momentum.
In only her second fight with the UFC, Calvillo will once again grace the night’s main card at UFC 210.
UFC 210 goes down on April 8 from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. The night’s main card will air on pay-per-view and features a main event between Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson for the UFC light-heavyweight title.
Calvillo will take on Pearl Gonzalez. A fighter who is in the midst of a six-fight winning streak, five of which came via stoppage. The 30 year old Gonzalez will be making her UFC debut on the night.
Calvillo is undefeated in four professional fights. She notably took on TUF winner Amanda Cooper in her UFC debut and forced the tap in round 1.
