UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo is back on top of the rankings in his weight class, but he isn’t the lone champion. Aldo will be stepping into the octagon at Max Holloway at “UFC 212” on June 3, 2017 and the Brazilian will have home-field advantage as the fights go down in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Aldo recently took Holloway to task for claiming he would “take over” his village in Brazil. Aldo spoke with the media [via. MMA Fighting] on Thursday afternoon and was quick to dismiss any claims that Holloway dished out:
“F—k no. Bullsh-t. Won’t take anything. He’s just another one who will try, and he doesn’t know how trained I am. I’m excited about this fight because of everything he said. That only motivated me every time he talked. You can be sure that he won’t take any kingdom here.”
