FOX Wanted To Hide Vitor Belfort’s Steroid Past, Told Broadcast Team Not To Mention On Air

“To be honest, obviously, we have production meetings when we work at Fox Sports, FS1 as it’s now called. I mean, we have production meetings and of course we discuss what we’re gonna say and I even said, ‘Well, the steroids thing is an issue,’ and they’re like ‘Listen, Michael…’ They’re not gonna tell me what to say and what not to say but they would prefer it if I didn’t focus on the negatives too much. But here’s the thing and I’m not trying to [expletive] on Vitor. I’m really not. That picture now on the left, holy crap. He’s a beast of a man and on the right he still looks decent but the difference is stark. It really is. It’s day and night.”

UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping wanted to speak freely about Vitor Belfort’s past after his fight with Kelvin Gastelum at “UFC Fight Night 106” and was informed to avoid bringing up the negatives about his past. Bisping spoke about this on his new podcast, “Believe You Me”.
