UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt and No. 2 contender T.J. Dillashaw have figuratively and literally been at each others throats for some time now.
The feud began when Dillashaw left the Team Alpha Male camp, of which Garbrandt has remains. The two have been coaching the new season of The Ultimate Fighter, sharing heated words and awful glances all the while.
Garbrandt was even captured reaching out and snaring Dillashaw by the throat during filming.
Now, it would appear that Garbrandt is looking to shed some light on the origin of their feud.
In a recent Tweet, Garbrandt stated “He knows there’s more to the story! how about ending one of your teammates career you cheap shottin mother [expletive]!”
While the specifics are still unclear, Garbrandt seems to be alluding to something deeper in their long running feud.
At any rate, the two will have an opportunity to settle things in the octagon in their title fight match at the end of TUF’s airing this summer.
