Despite endless amounts of bad press for bad cops, when cops step outside the box to serve and protect, they’re rarely acknowledged for the good they do.
Which is what makes this particular story pretty cool.
When a U.K. police officer found a drunken guy in need of sobriety, he could have easily cuffed him and brought him to jail. Instead, this officer interrupted a group text in progress to get information on the man, so that he could bring him home.
Talk about class.
