Almost one year ago, the rumors of a fight between UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather were easy to dismiss or laugh off. Now, UFC President Dana White is appearing on national television saying that he believes the fight will happen. A lot can happen inside the span of a year, and it seems like both parties got all the necessary paperwork completed because the fight is ON!
According to Chael Sonnen, at least.
Sonnen took to social media late Thursday evening and revealed that Conor vs. Floyd is, in fact, on. The Bellator fighter simply left it at that, not revealing the source of his tweet:
