Top female MMA prospect Mackenzie Dern returned to action tonight under the Legacy FC banner. Her bout aired on AXS TV.
Featured on the night’s main card, The BJJ champion in Dern was unable to secure much of a ground assault, and instead was forced to face her opponent in the stand-up realm. That didn’t halt Dern’s offense though, as the Brazilian fighter was content to keep things standing, showing off her ever evolving MMA game.
Her opponent, Katherine Roy, did her best to mount an offense worthy of victory, but fell short.
The judges saw the bout in favor of Dern, moving her to an unblemished 3-0 since turning pro.
The final scorecards read, 30-27, 30-27, 29-98.
