Former Russian State Duma member Denis Voronenkov was assassinated on March 23 when walking through the streets of central Kiev
As reported by Bloody Elbow, A gunman, Pavel Parshov, opened fire on Voronenkov, but later died in a shootout with Voronenkov’s bodyguard.
Yaroslav Levents, a martial arts teacher and former serviceman of the Ukrainian nationalist Donbas battalion, reportedly accompanied the murderer. Levents is a teacher of a Cossack martial art from the Ukraine known as combat hopak.
