Jorge Masvidal walked into the octagon at “UFC on FOX 23” opposite of Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and let it be known that despite being the underdog, he should never be counted out. Masvidal knocked Cerrone out cold (twice) in the fight, ending it all in the second round before challenging UFC President Dana White to find him another fight.
The wager? $200,000. Masvidal issued a challenge to White that any fighter that can beat him inside the octagon. It is not known whether or not White accepted the wager, but he did find Masvidal an opponent in Demian Maia. The two will meet at “UFC 211” in Dallas, Texas and Masvidal is reminding White what he believes is at stake in that fight:
