Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather are closer than they have ever been to signing a deal and making their cross-sport super fight official. Reports have been circulating that the T-Mobile Arena has been reserved for June 10, 2017 for a bout between the two superstars, but Mayweather may be eyeing other locations before making anything official.
Mayweather has been making his way around the world this week, visiting four countries in four days. The boxing legend recently landed in Russia and had a word with the fans and media, sharing with Life.RU that he would be more than interested in having his superfight with McGregor take place in Russia:
“My return would not have taken place without the support of Russian fans. Moscow is the second house of mine. If you now offered to fight with McGregor in Moscow, I would not refuse.”
