CM Punk’s professional fighting career has lasted a total of 2:14 inside the octagon. Still, the WWE superstar received some kind words from UFC hall of famer Mark Coleman after his swift loss.
Phil “CM Punk” Brooks decided to step away from the WWE wrestling ring and try his hand at MMA inside the octagon. Brooks debuted in the UFC at UFC 203 against Mickey Gall.
Brooks was quickly submitted by Gall in the first round, leading to a pretty bitter debut for the WWE wrestler.
A new video of Brooks back stage after the loss has surfaced to the internet and features UFC hall of famer Mark Coleman.
“You’re great. You’re coming back.” Coleman quickly assured Brooks. “I’m pulling for you man.”
