Former UFC ringside commentator Mike Goldberg was rapidly removed from his longtime role with the world’s largest Mixed Martial Arts Promotion.
Without any real reason, Goldberg’s contract was not renewed, and Joe Rogan now hosts a different duo of commentators on fight night.
In a perfect world we’d see “Goldie” align himself with Bellator for their upcoming Madison Square Garden pay-per-view and beyond. And while none of have a Crystal ball to know where the longtime voice of the Octagon will land, he’s hinting at a return of some sort.
Goldberg has dabbled in other sports commenting in the past, but hopefully he’s MMA bound.
Here’s what he released on twitter Thursday night.
A sincere thank you to each and every one of you for the love and support, day after day, week after week, it's not even close to all over!

Any guesses?
