Ahead of their exciting UFC 202 rematch, lightweight champion Conor McGregor and division contender Nate Diaz nearly attacked each other at the ceremonial weigh-ins.

The two lightweight warriors stood toe-to-toe upon the stage, burrowed into each other’s gazes and then continued to give Dana White a run for his money.

The UFC president was forced to separate the two fighters, but the task proved challenging. With a little help from security, the two fighters were finally pulled away from each other.

Nate Diaz would go on to lose to Conor McGregor by way of majority decision in the UFC 202 rematch. He initially defeated the current champion at UFC 196 with a second round rear-naked choke.
