Ultimate Fighting Championship has one of the deepest rosters in sports altogether, let alone mixed martial arts. The depth each division has calls for the ranking committee to stay up to date with the latest going-ons in the world of MMA and a recent shakeup in the light heavyweight division has called for the removal of a top-five fighter.
Ryan Bader was recently given his release papers by the UFC, and he was informed that he is free to sign with any competitors as he likes. The belief is that Bader will be making his way to Bellator in the near future, but until then he’ll be entertaining offers from promotions around the world. Check out the updated light heavyweight rankings below:
Light Heavyweight: The removal of number-five ranked Ryan Bader has called for every fighter under him to move up one spot. Moving into fifth place is now Mauricio Rua and moving into the top ten is Rogerio Nogueira. Tyson Pedro lands the fifteenth spot in the rankings, having not been ranked before hand.
