Ever since these two were set to fight, the war of words between Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov has been thick and entertaining.
Arguably , the best two lightweight fighters on the planet were set to fight for UFC gold this weekend. But, weight issues on the Russian’s side forced the fight’s cancellation on just 24-hours notice.
Unlike his traditional words to Khabib, Ferguson took to twitter with a heartfelt message instead.

At the time of this report it is unknown what the future holds for either fighter, but the leading candidate is that Ferguson gets bumped up to fight Conor McGregor.
