With virtual reality slowly making its way inside the entertainment centers and living rooms of tech savvy consumers and modern families alike, UFC on Fox has decided to try its hand at the new entertainment craze.
In this coverage wrap up of last weekend’s UFC 209 event, UFC on Fox decided to try out a new 360 degree camera for some nice VR footage.
With the recent release of the HTC Vive, Sony VR and Facebook’s own Oculus Rift, virtual reality entertainment is now possible in the living room. If the UFC will decide to further explore the medium is still unknown, but perhaps one day pay-per-view events will viewable in a way entirely different from what we know them today.
UFC 209 went down last Saturday inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley successfully defended his belt from Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson in the main event.
