“Rowdy” Bec Rawlings is one of the true pioneers in women’s mixed martial arts, and fans have seen just how tough she is during her wars inside the octagon. Going the distance with Seo Hee Ham for fifteen straight minutes in an all out war proved her warrior’s spirit and showcased her ability to push through the pain to get her arm raised in victory.
Now, she will have to channel her ability to push through the pain once again as she has undergone surgery to extract the screws from her hip. Rawlings took her loyal social media followers through her journey in the hospital the past couple of days as she has been updating the status of her hip and leg on her Instagram page:
“Time to get these screws out of my hip ☺️ #surgery #stressfracture #hardware”
Rawlings sent out the first message on Instagram, adding the picture of her X-Ray that reveal that screws in her hip:
Just after the surgery wrapped up, Rawlings updated her friends and family on social media with the following images:
