Ultimate Fighting Championship may be at risk of losing one of the biggest fights on tomorrow’s “UFC 209” event.
While the headline fight between Tyron Woodley and Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson seems to be safe, the “people’s headline” fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson may be in jeopardy. There were reports of Nurmagomedov being taken to the hospital just hours before early weigh-ins began, and there are rumors that Nurmagomedov was given IVs at the hospital before his departure.
While the fight has not been ruled out, it is also being rumored that Nurmagomedov will still fight but he just won’t be eligible for winning the title. Karyn Bryant is live at the early weigh-ins and shared the rumors swirling around:
