Former MMA fighter War Machine, formerly known as Jonathan Koppenhaver, is on trial for allegedly assaulting adult film star and former girlfriend Christine Mackinday. War Machine is facing 34 counts which include attempted murder, sexual assault, and kidnapping.
Mackinday is reported to have received a broken nose, missing teeth, over a dozen broken bones and a ruptured liver during the incident.
Erin Mackinday, the mother of Christy Mack, recently took to the stand [via. Daily Mail UK] and revealed what type of relationship she and War Machine had. She detailed an altercation in which the couple got in a fight over Christy’s pet snake that ended in Mack getting manhandled, thrown on the floor before Machine finally tossed her onto the bed. The mother recalled bringing her daughter into the restroom, saying “I took her into the bathroom, held onto her and said ‘shut up! He will kill you. Shut up!’”
When asked whether or not she had any regrets as to not calling the police after their August 2014 incident, she fired back with “No, I wish I had shot you.” while looking at Machine.
