Vitor Belfort Wants To Face CM Punk In Retirement Fight

UFC fighter CM Punk is no stranger to the occasional call-out.

The majority of the UFC’s roster has asked for an opportunity to face him, despite his low level of experience.

If you’re CM Punk you want to comeback from your MMA debut defeat and win one before calling it a career. The last thing you want is for a former two-time champion and legend to call you out.

Well, that’s exactly what just happened. Speaking to FloCombat, Vitor Belfort named his dream matchup for his retirement fight.

Belfort stated,

“It would have to be an interesting fighter, but not a top fighter. I’ve been fighting good guys before: Dan Henderson, [Chris] Weidman, Dan Henderson, ‘Jacaré’ [Souza], [Gegard] Mousasi and now Kelvin [Gastelum]. These are all hard fights, so if you can book a smoother fight… What’s the name of that guy from WWE? CM Punk would be a good fight. CM Punk, let’s get it on. That would be a really good fight.”
