Back in 2011, power striker and boxing phenom Anne Sophie Mathis knocked Holly Holm out cold.
Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm is a talented striker in her own rite, but the cards were simply not in her favor in her first match with Mathis.
While Holm would go on to beat Mathis in a rematch, nothing can take away from the powerful KO Mathis scored in the first bout.
Holm is currently coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Germaine de Randamie at UFC 208. Featherweight champion Randamie came under some fire after the victory, as she landed multiple late blows during the fight.
Holm would go on to appeal the loss, but was ultimately denied.
