Presented by Cesar Gracie, UFC lightweight contender Nate Diaz received his BJJ black belt back in 2012.
In the video above, the grappling phenom can be seen receiving his belt for the first time.
Diaz has earned a submission victory in 12 of his 19 wins. In his most recent bout, Diaz lost in his title fight rematch against current champion Conor McGregor at UFC 202. Previously, Diaz defeated McGregor by way of rear-naked choke at UFC 196.
Most recently, Diaz has been having a feud with UFC President Dana White. White has stated that be believes Diaz may be holding out for another title shot rematch against “Notorious.” Though, Diaz has retorted the president with some thoughts of his own.
