Even though regional mixed martial arts events do not contain as much glitz and glamor as Ultimate Fighting Championship cards, the lack of presentation can make for a more fun environment than the Vegas-based company.
The drinks were flowing freely and there was minimal security at a regional MMA event in England. After the amateur boxing and mixed martial arts event wrapped up at the Black-E Centre in the Chinatown area of Liverpool. all hell broke loose as a twenty-man brawl broke out before the crowd’s very eyes. Unleashed Gorilla released the following statement on the scrap:
“Thank you for everyone coming down to unleashed gorilla we hope use all enjoyed the show unfortunately we had the problem at the end mistakes like this happen and we are working to improve this and nothing like that will happen again thank you to everyone and fighters who attended and we will be back better and bigger and next time we will have are own security as we was let down by the security that was not provided by ourselves and who didnt meet are standards”
“Was out of our hands as organisers but again we will not tolerate this behaviour in anyway as we welcome all family’s of all ages to our event we can reassure this will never happen again sorry for any inconvenience that was caused. We look forward to seeing you again. Apologies unleashed gorilla”
