Ultimate Fighting Championship have made their way to Nashville, Tennessee for “UFC Fight Night 108” where the Bridgestone Arena will host the main event scrap between Artem Lobov and Cub Swanson.
As soon as the main event scrap was announced, fighters and fans alike have been scratching their heads as to why Lobov secured a spot in the main event picture. Regardless, Lobov has been making waves with headlines recently and is justifying UFC’s decision to put him there.
Lobov, the main training partner of Conor McGregor, is coming fresh off a win over Teruto Ishihara that saw him secure the win after three rounds by way of unanimous decision. Just before that, Lobov took out Chris Avila on the massive stage of “UFC 202” where McGregor squared off with Nate Diaz for a second time.
Swanson has proven himself time and time again and will be stepping back into the octagon after putting on one of the best fights in UFC history against “The Korean Superboy” Doo Ho Choi at “UFC 206”. Lobov and Swanson finally went face to face at the weigh-ins and it was HEATED. Check it out below:
