Bellator MMA has been making a habit of keeping tabs on UFC’s fighters turning to free agency. Looking to snag two more for their ranks, Scott Coker is interested in the two latest free agent prospects of the UFC.
Journalist Chamatkar Sandhu has reported by way of Twitter that Bellator MMA President Scott Coker is interested in talking to UFC’s Gegard Mousasi and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza. The two fighters are on the precipice of free agency.
Mousasi’s contract with the UFC expired at last weekend’s UFC 210, while Souza’s will expire after his bout at UFC on FOX 24 this weekend. Journalist Chamatkar Sandhu went to Twitter to give the news.
“Just spoke to Bellator MMA president Scott Coker who told me if Gegard Mousasi and Jacare Souza become free, they will speak to them both.”
