Michael Bisping has always had a target on his back thanks to his limitless fuel for trash talking any and every opponent in his weight class. Now that he has the UFC Middleweight Championship strapped around his waist, however, he is aiming his target at everybody.
Bisping landed himself a massive big-money fight against a returning Georges St-Pierre and even though the event doesn’t even have a date yet, that hasn’t stopped Bisping from putting the former welterweight champion on blast already. The British fighter was quick to dress down St-Pierre in a recent interview with TMZ Sports when asked why it’s taking so long for a date to be secured for the fight:
“I think he’s waiting for his balls to grow. I think he’s doing some bicep curls, taking some protein shakes and then when he’s big enough, then maybe we can do the fight.”
Bisping shocked the world when he knocked Luke Rockhold out cold at “UFC 199” in the summer of 2016 to become the world middleweight champion on two weeks notice. Since then, middleweight contenders have been proving themselves to be viable challengers to the throne but low-ranked or unranked fighters like Dan Henderson and St-Pierre are skipping the line to fight Bisping.
Should the likes of Yoel Romero, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Gegard Mousasi be competing for an interim championship while Bisping is tied up waiting for St-Pierre to decide on a date?
