BJJ Trained 10-Year-Old Goes Viral After Defending Himself From Bully With Grappling Technique

Martial arts have been putting bullies to rest for years. When a kid realizes they have a problem with a pushy classmate, they often find themselves inside a karate class. For Jaxson Dinmore, the answer was Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

As reported by mixedmartialarts.com, 10-year-old Jaxson Dinmore was faced with two bullies at a local park. The bullies pushed Dinmore around, but Dinmore was quick to defend himself with his background in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

As a yellow belt in the martial art, Dinmore managed to defend himself from the bullies and lock in a quick chokehold before bystanders arrived to break up the scuffle.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu is rising as a first choice for many young individuals interested in the martial arts. While traditional martial arts such as Kenpo and Taekwondo are the usual first picks for those unfamiliar with the martial art scene, it would appear that this rising art form is quickly growing into a well known name.
