The Ultimate Fighting Championship recently took a slight jab at one of their featherweight competitors over social media. The incident occurred over the official Spanish UFC Twitter account and involved a former Invicta FC featherweight champion.
Former Invicta FC featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino has moved over to the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The fighter recently made a shout out through Twitter, announcing that she will begin training soon and she will be doing so with a smile.
However, the official Spanish UFC Twitter account was quick to respond to the message through a fan’s comment on “Cyborg’s” post. The UFC explained to the fan that “Cyborg” has allegedly rejected two fights already and that her bout with Germaine de Randamie is not yet scheduled.
Now, Justino has shot back. The fighter went to Instagram to leave a message. “Last year I fought 3 times in 8 months…Does anyone really believe I turn down fights? July 29 Everyone will see Cyborg never turn down fight. #ufc214 #ufcanaheim #cyborgvsgdr #letsgochamp Fans be sure to wish @ironladymma a happy 33rd bday.” She said.
