There is no love lost between UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier and rival Jon “Bones” Jones.
The two have only met in the octagon once despite signing the dotted lines to face each other multiple times afterward. Injuries on Cormier’s end would prevent him from stepping into the octagon while Jones has had his fair share of troubles with the law and failed drug testing that kept him from making it to the octagon. Somewhere down the line, however, the two will settle their beef inside the octagon. If Jones doesn’t heed Cormier’s warning, however, that could happen sooner rather than later.
Jones will be in Buffalo, New York, the hosting city of “UFC 210”, and Cormier issued a warning to Jones if he chose to step inside the octagon after his fight with Anthony “Rumble” Johnson [via. Fox Sports]:
“He better not come in my cage after I win. He’s not welcome in there. He’s still suspended. When he’s eligible to fight then he can walk in the cage but if he dares to step into that Octagon, something bad will happen.”
