Infamous Coach “Edmund” Parody Account Fools UFC Officials On Twitter

Edmond Tarverdyan has quickly become one of the more infamous coaches in mixed martial arts after two of his most prominent fighters fell from great heights in the last couple years. Tarverdyan was there for the rise of Ronda Rousey in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, helping her polish her striking skills as she slayed her way through the weight class. Once she suffered a devastating loss to Holly Holm, however, all eyes were on Tarverdyan for not helping her prepare for such an amazing stand-up fighter in Holm.

A year later, Rousey suffered another ugly knockout at the hands of Amanda Nunes. Again, fighters and fans alike pointed their fingers as Tarverdyan who also saw the downfall of another one of his fighters in Travis Browne. Since then, Tarverdyan has become a bit of a meme in the world of MMA. Cries of “head mooment” have littered the message boards but perhaps no parody has been greater than the Tarverdyan spoof Twitter account, who recently got invited to “UFC 210” by UFC officials thinking it was a legit account!
