Following a swift loss to Daniel Cormier in last night’s main event, “Rumble” announced his retirement from the sport. With an epic bout between the KO artist and Jon Jones having never come to fruition, the announcement was that much more bitter to swallow for the New York crowd. But, “Rumble” spoke to Jon Jones after his defeat. The two may meet inside a cage yet.
No. 1 light heavyweight contender Anthony “Rumble” Johnson took on champion Daniel Cormier in the main event of last night’s UFC 210. But, Johnson’s loss ended with words of retirement.
After the fight, Johnson met former champion Jon Jones backstage for a few words.
