Team Alpha Male head coach, owner of the Dillashaw getting knocked out by Garbrandt tape, explains the moral balance between the decision to release the video, or keep it private.
Here’s what he said:
“I think it would be completely wrong to release that tape. Because TJ was a teammate at the time, Cody was a teammate at the time.
I was filming my sparring and they happened to come into the rounds and then the incident happened. That’s where it started, Cody was sticking up for Urijah.
So, i think it’s wrong to release the tape. But, at this point I can release whatever I want morally. Because TJ said, ‘You guys don’t have the tape. You guys are lying. Release the tape if you have it.’
So at this point I can do it. … We’re in the promotion business… And this guy told me to release it.”
