Flyweights Hector Sandoval and Matt Schnell kicked off the action for “UFC Fight Night 108” with their bout that aired exclusively on UFC Fight Pass. In a weight class where the champion is blazing through any and all challengers, both fighters hoped to make a big impact and turn a lot of heads.

Team Alpha Male’s Sandoval did not shy away from meeting Schnell in the middle of the octagon after kicking the fight off with a respectful touch of the gloves. Both fighters traded low kicks to kick things off, and it didn’t take long until they closed the distance and started blasting each other with close-range shots.
While in the clinch, Sandoval threw up a jumping knee that plopped him on his back. It was no issue, however, as he was able to get back up to his feet right off the bat.
Sandoval caught Schnell off guard with a stiff right hand just a split-second before shooting and taking him down.
Sandoval displayed a ridiculous amount of power after taking Schnell down to the mat again before hammering him with repeated hammer-fists, putting Schnell to sleep!
